Parish Religious Education Program Grades K - 8

About Our Parish Religious Education Program (PREP)

Our program includes:

• Weekly classes led by trained catechists
• Preparation for First Reconciliation, First Holy Communion, and Confirmation
• Family faith events and seasonal celebrations
• Opportunities for prayer, service, and liturgical participation

Initial Enrollment Requirements:

• A completed registration form (available online or at the parish office)
• A copy of your child’s Baptismal certificate (required for all new students and sacramental prep years)
• Payment of program tuition or an arranged payment plan
• Commitment to attend Sunday Mass regularly as a family
• Parent participation in required orientation and sacrament preparation meetings
• Families transferring into our program from another Religious Education program must provide a letter of transfer from the parish they are leaving at the time of registration for each child
• Children who have missed time in Religious Education may be asked to complete the years they missed or take a written assessment. This helps ensure they are placed appropriately in the program based on their current understanding of the Catholic faith, regardless of their school grade.
• Sacramental preparation for First Holy Communion and Confirmation is a two-year (consecutive) process. All program requirements must be completed before the sacraments are received
