Helping Young Hearts Hear God’s Voice
Children’s Liturgy of the Word is a special opportunity for young children to experience the Sunday readings in a way that speaks to their hearts and minds. During Mass, children are invited to gather in a separate space to hear God’s Word proclaimed in simple language, reflect through prayer and discussion, and engage in age-appropriate activities to help them understand the Gospel message.
This meaningful time of worship helps children grow in their relationship with Christ and fosters a more profound love for the Mass. They return to their families in the pews before the Liturgy of the Eucharist to continue celebrating together as a parish community.

They are called forward after the opening prayer with our ministry leader to hear the Sunday Readings with music and activities.
